Randomness

I will make a post in the nearish future. Just know that I am still alive. I will try to be better at updating but I think I'll wait til life settles down and school is out. Then I will have time. Until then, may the force be with you.

Germany

My dad is in Germany right now for military training stuff and I am so jealous! I am taking German in school. He always brings us back souvenirs from every trip he goes on but I almost wanted to give him money so he could get me something extra. I really want to go to Germany! And to top it all off, something already broke. The air conditioning in the van is broken. Every time my dad leaves something breaks. The fridge, t.v., the dryer, and now the air conditioning. Just 2 days after he left. I just think thats funny.

Wicked!

Last night I went with Kate, Rosie, Julie, and Aunt Melody to enter in a drawing for $25 Wicked tickets. We had already desided if one of our names got picked Rosie and I would go because we wanted to the most. We each entered our names and waited for them to start picking out names. When they finally started calling out names I just thought there is no way one of us is going to get picked. They called like 4 names and then they call out Melody Liddle! I couldn't believe it. I was so ready for disappointment! Well we went to Gandolfos and got some food to eat. When our food was ready Kate, Julie and Aunt Melody left. So Rosie and I ate and then went outside. It was SUPER windy! We got pelted in the face by little pieces of rock or something. We went down the wrong street too! We went back and found Capitol Theater. We went inside and waited for the doors to open to get inside the actual theater. They opened the doors at 7. We were in row E! We were so close up! I couldn't believe I was actually there! We waited for the show to start. It started at about 7:30. It was so awesome! After act one was over, we just waited and talked and looked at the program. Then the music suddenly started really loud and scared everyone back to their seats. They finally started act 2. That act was amazing too! I loved Wicked!!!!!!!! After Wicked was over we went outside and called Aunt Melody. She wouldn't pick up so we went inside Capitol Theater again and waited where it was at least a little warmer than outside. We finally found Aunt Melody and started home. On our way home I fell asleep for like 8 minutes. (it ended at about 10:15) I got home around 11:15. I couldn't fall asleep! I ended up finally falling asleep at about midnight. I was so tired today!

Speaking of which today was career day! I had the best choices ever! We got to go to 4 different careers. They were all assigned but we got to pick 2 that we wanted that we might get. I had photography, woodworking, artist 1, and artist 2. When I got to artist one my teacher told me the artist speaker couldn't come so I had to go to either the auditorium (computer gamer) or the gym (cosmetology). I desided to go to cosmetology because no way am I going to anything computer related. Over all I had a pretty good time. When I got home I could smell a roast beef in the slow cooker. That smelled so good! When dinner was done we all ate a ton. My mom had made cheesecake (GROSS!) and sugary strawberries (YUM!). I loved it! Overall I had a very good night/day. I still have Young Womens to go to too! I am excited! It is a get to know you activity. It is combined young women. I don't really know much about it but it sounds really fun!

Easter!

Last night we colored eggs. We each got 8. We usually get 6 but my mom said we eat them so fast she wanted to give us a couple more. I had so much fun!

Today is the day before Easter but my family celebrated Easter today. When we went downstairs I found a container with a lot of candy in it! It had robbin eggs, egg gum, mini cadberry eggs, reeses eggs and snickers eggs! I LOVE CANDY!!!!!!!! I have already eaten a ton!

Tomorrow I am going to help my teacher with her lesson in Sundy School. I don't really do much but still I am kind of excited. I just have to read a paper and ask a question about it.

Tomorrow my dad is leaving to Azerbaijan! I am going to miss him so much! He will be gone for 17 days! I don't want him to be gone on Easter! Well he has been gone for longer so this won't be as bad as other times but I will still miss him a ton!

Kate's new job

I can't believe Kate got a job at Cold Stone! She works at a Cold Stone owned by Sergeant Web. My dad is his boss and he is Kate's boss. Kate gets a free love it size ice cream after she works and she is going to try to bring one home for me tonight! If not tonight then the next time she works. I have never been to Cold Stone before so I can't wait til she gets it for me! I probably shouldn't have more sweets. My family celebrated Easter today so I got a lot of candy. Ice cream probably wouldn't be the best idea right now but I don't care.

My wrist

Last night I had a sleepover. Today we went classic skating. I was skating around and all of a sudden some guy ran into me. I fell on my wrist. It really hurts. When I got home my mom got a bandage and some ice and wrapped me up. My mom took me to the doctor. The doctor said he is pretty sure it isn't broken. (Mom is taking over the typing because Erika is in pain) They said their not quite sure exactly what's wrong, but they took 3 x-rays and one of them looks like there might be something wrong. There is one spot that looks like it might be injured, but in the other x-rays it looks fine. They gave me a special splint for my wrist and it's helping a lot. Kate was really nice and made me some brownies. She texted my mom asking what my favorite homemade dessert was. I said it was probably brownies so she made some for me. It's still hurting a lot but hopefully it will be ok. Mom's note: Erika is being very brave! She got a note to get out of P.E. too! And keyboarding and band if that is neccessary.
